Connecting & Verifying Social Accounts

How influencers connect Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts and pass verification.

Influenzic does not use OAuth tokens to connect social accounts. Instead it uses a bio verification method — the influencer places a unique platform code in their social media bio, and the platform checks for its presence. This approach works across all platforms without requiring API access or app approval.

Supported Native Platforms

Influenzic ships with built-in native support for 10 major social networks: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitch, Snapchat, and Threads, managed by a centralized, production-hardened Platform Registry (helpers/platform-registry.php):

Platform Verification Target Min Followers Option Key
Instagram Public profile bio inzc_social_min_followers_instagram
TikTok Public profile bio inzc_social_min_followers_tiktok
YouTube Channel description inzc_social_min_followers_youtube
Facebook Profile bio / Page about inzc_social_min_followers_facebook
X (Twitter) Public account bio inzc_social_min_followers_x
LinkedIn Headline / About bio inzc_social_min_followers_linkedin
Pinterest Profile bio / website inzc_social_min_followers_pinterest
Twitch Channel about panels inzc_social_min_followers_twitch
Snapchat Public profile bio inzc_social_min_followers_snapchat
Threads Profile bio inzc_social_min_followers_threads

Each platform can be enabled or disabled independently under Influenzic → Settings → Social Accounts & Platforms via simple one-click checkboxes. Disabling a platform cleanly hides it sitewide from the campaign wizard, influencer search filters, account connection forms, and creator rate cards. All 10 platforms feature crisp, native SVG brand logos and tailored deliverable types out of the box.

The Verification Flow

  1. 1
Influencer navigates to Settings → Social Accounts on their dashboard.
  2. 2
They select the platform to connect and enter their username/channel URL.
  3. 3
The platform generates a unique verification code (e.g. inf-v-a3f9x2).
  4. 4
The influencer copies this code and adds it to their bio or description on the respective social platform.
  5. 5
They click Verify. The platform checks the public profile for the code.
  6. 6
On success, the connection is submitted for admin review (or auto-approved, depending on approval mode).

Approval Modes

Mode Behaviour
Manual Every connection enters the admin review queue. Admin approves or declines.
Auto Connections are approved automatically if the bio check passes and follower count meets the minimum threshold.
Smart Clean connections auto-approve. Connections with signals of inauthenticity (very new accounts, suspicious follower ratios) are flagged for manual review.

Stats Refresh

Influencer follower counts are not updated automatically. Influencers can request a stats refresh from their social accounts page. The refresh request enters the admin review queue — the admin manually updates the stats after checking the social profile.

Disconnecting an Account

If an influencer has no active or pending projects using a social account, they can disconnect it from their settings. If active projects exist, the platform blocks disconnection until those projects are completed or cancelled.
